Otto works extensively with older patient populations in the field of fitness and rehabilitation. Through his academic, athletic, and clinical experience, Otto is able to provide a unique mix of sports medicine and fitness expertise as well as personal- and sports performance training tailored to his clients.

Otto received his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2016 and he successfully passed his Board of Certification examinations to become a certified sports medicine provider.

Otto is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and the American Physical Therapy Association, and he has been engaged in conducting and presenting research at national conferences throughout his undergraduate- and graduate careers.

In addition, Otto has served the Florida Gulf Coast University Rehabilitation Sciences student body as a Teacher’s Assistant in Human Anatomy & Physiology and as a Graduate Assistant in the Movement Science course series for Doctorate students.

Born in Rovaniemi, Finland, Otto moved to the U.S. to play top-level competitive ice hockey and study sport medicine and physical therapy. He has worked with a clientele from NCAA athletes to individuals with various neurological, vestibular, orthopedic, and cardiovascular conditions.

When not assisting clients with their fitness and rehabilitation needs, Otto can be found playing ice hockey, soccer, pickle ball, tennis, and various other sports.
