Wells Physical Therapy is excited to be involved with the University of North Florida Department of Clinical & Applied Movement Sciences. Dr. Wells has been engaged with the Master's of Athletic Training (MSAT) program involving lectures on dry needling and tough Orthopedic cases. Much of the literature presented on dry needling focuses on orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions like knee pain, hip pain, rotator cuff tears, and muscle strains. Meanwhile the tough cases lecture emphasizes critical thinking for graduate students. Many of the cases include neck pain, nerve injuries, and deciphering lower back pain from extremity pain.

We are honored to be involved in our community of Jacksonville and Ponte Vedra. Providing education is just one way of our team giving back. Moreover, by teaching our team stays up to date with research and best practices for physical therapy and training care. Dr. Wells  is a graduate of both the athletic training and physical therapy programs at University of North Florida. Once an Osprey, always an Osprey!

If you'd like to schedule an appointment with the Wells Physical Therapy team for the Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra Beach, or Saint Augustine areas, call us today 904-568-1156.
